Bethan Davies  ICF ACC
Transformative Coach

Coaching that works with you to move from where you are now, to where you want to be.

"Coaching has felt like a liberating partnership, it has energised me and made me feel alive again. I'm proud of what I've been able to achieve." Sue

My varied life experiences help me serve my clients. Working as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher and Secondary School Teacher taught me to think on my feet and be creative.  My time with Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind gave me hands‑on experience in 1‑to‑1 support, training, and authoring resources.

Having navigated my own mental health and neurodiverse struggles, I know how important specific, personalised support is, and that real solutions are co‑created.

Living and working in different countries, and alongside many cultures, has given me an open mind and the ability to see from different perspectives. It’s shaped the way I work, being collaborative, creative, and always meeting people where they are.

I've trained as a Trauma Informed Transformative Coach with Animas. Accredited with ICF ACC and continuing my learning in ADHD. I’m a member of ICF, fully insured and adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics and Core Competencies.

What is Transformative Coaching?

Transformative coaching is a focused, forward‑looking partnership that helps you create meaningful, self‑driven change. Each session has a clear purpose as we explore where you are now, what you want to shift, and the strengths you already carry. I don’t give answers I coach them out of you because lasting change comes from within. Together we look at what might prevent change, the unsaid, things below the surface like mindset, self‑talk, beliefs, the mind–body connection, and what gives your life meaning. It’s about shaping a life that feels like yours, grounded in self-knowledge, purpose, connection, and identity. At the heart of this work is being trained, not tamed: learning to work with your mind in a way that is constructive, hopeful, and true to who you are.

"Being coached by Beth has been incredible valuable, especially during key moments of my life. She creates a psychologically safe space that makes it easy to be open and honest, while gently guiding each session so it stays focused and purposeful. Our sessions consistently led to meaningful insights. and a level of clarity I have come to deeply appreciate and look forward to."

"I've been working with Bethan for a while now, and the difference has been real and consistent. She has a way of keeping you grounded without letting you spiral into self-criticism when things don't go to plan. One of the things I valued most is that she actively helps you recognise your own progress."

- A.L.

"I wasn't sure if coaching was for me, but as I progressed and as a result of the changes that happened I can see coaching was exactly what I needed. It's different from counselling as it's more a focused discussion and structured. Once I got used to how it works I became more comfortable and we built a good relationship"
